Created by Danish Shaikh, Perfumer & Founder of B U L V V A R K, ECLIPSE is an unconventional aquatic creation from the PRIVEMYX collection, born from a desire to challenge everything familiar about aquatic perfumery.

Inspired by the extraordinary purity of glacier water, ECLIPSE captures an olfactory impression of icy freshness, crystalline clarity, and pristine elegance.

It is not the familiar aquatic fragrance you expect. It is something far more intriguing.

The fragrance opens with the sensation of a cool ocean breeze, accompanied by the delicate luminosity of jasmine and the fresh, graceful character of muguet. The opening feels almost crystalline, like the first breath of air in an untouched glacial landscape.

As the composition unfolds, rose and lavender introduce a beautiful floral dimension, while cedarwood provides a refined woody structure that gives the freshness character and balance.

Finally, musk, moss, and vanilla create a smooth, understated foundation. They soften the icy personality without taking away its pristine character, allowing the fragrance to evolve into something beautifully sophisticated.

ECLIPSE was born out of pure madness.

At a time when the fragrance industry was filled with familiar aquatic compositions, often following the same barbershop-inspired direction, I wanted to create something radically different.

I wasn't interested in making another conventional aquatic fragrance and simply giving it a different name. I wanted to explore water as an experience.

My vision was to capture the sensation of standing before pristine glacier water — its extraordinary clarity, its crispness, its untouched freshness, and the almost surreal feeling of purity it evokes.

The real challenge was translating that sensation into perfumery without allowing the composition to become overly marine, synthetic, sharp, or predictable.

I wanted minimalism, but never simplicity. Freshness, but with sophistication. An aquatic character that felt expansive, elegant, and beautifully balanced.

ECLIPSE is my interpretation of that pursuit — a fragrance that moves beyond the familiar understanding of aquatic perfumery and explores a much more refined expression of freshness.

I didn't want to create another aquatic perfume. I wanted to create the feeling of glacier water.
